Her Majesty
Queen Elizabeth II
Buckingham Palace

London

Your Majesty,

I learned with a profound shock and with deep sorrow about the terrorist attack in London on 22 March 2017 that claimed the lives of several innocent citizens.

On behalf of the people of Hungary and that of my own, allow me to extend my heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathies to the relatives of the victims as well as my hopes for fast recovery for those who were injured.

Hungary strongly condemns this brutal and shameful act of violence. In these difficult times of grief our thoughts and prayers are with the families affected.

Your Majesty, please accept the assurances of my highest consideration.

Sincerely yours,

János Áder
President of the Republic
of Hungary
