Visiting the Sándor Palace

The Sándor Palace is open for the public once a year, the third weekend of September on the occasion of the National Cultural Heritage Days. Between 19-20 September 2009 the historical saloons of the Sándor Palace were open to the public.

In 2009,6200 people paid a visit in the building. Visitors had the possibility to go round the rooms with the help of a leaflet received at the gate of the palace.

Patrol of the Guard of Honour

The first Patrol of the Guard of Honour took place at St György Square on the 14th March 2004, in the presence of Ferenc Mádl, President of the Republic. The patrol of the members of the Government Guard starts with the blare of a trumpet at noon each day.
